These beautiful leather reins are handmade from the finest quality, carefully selected hides and then skillfully plaited from one piece of leather split into five. The reins are approximately 1" wide and the plaiting provides wonderful grip. They are perfect for showing or dressage where rubber reins are too bulky, and are particularly popular for use with double bridles.
The Bell Busk Saddlery Plaited Reins have silver polished or solid brass fittings and stud and billet fastenings to attach to the bit for a discreet, slimline appearance. They are approximately 280cm long and have built in martingale stops.
These reins are available in black or brown to complement your favourite bridle.
