This is a new addition to the Bell Busk Saddlery Hunter range.  The elasticated hunting breastplate is designed along strongly traditional lines, with the addition of the elasticated insert in the neckline to provide ultimate comfort for your horse.

This breastplate is absolutely stunning quality, superbly handmade from the highest quality leather hides, and with either heavy duty solid brass, or silver polished fittings to finish it off.  It fully complements the Hunter and Arena range of saddles and bridles and is a real thing of beauty.

The new elasticated hunting breastplate boasts supremely soft and supple leather which is still just as tough and durable as you would expect.  This breastplate is widely used in the hunting field but is also perfectly at home in working hunter classes and is also eminently suitable for eventing, showjumping or just hacking out.  

The breastplate comprises a softly padded strap across the horse's withers with straps going back to the D rings of the saddle.  These clip fasten onto the D rings to reduce bulk and faff and are both full adjustable.  The sides of the neck piece which run round the horse's neck have an insert of extra strong, double thickness elastic for freedom of movement during galloping and jumping, these neck straps are fully adjustable for a custom fit and there is further adjustment available on the girth strap.  

The breastplate also comes with a detachable running martingale (so you can quickly put it on after the dressage), each branch of the martingale is individually adjustable which is brilliant if you have a slightly one-sided horse.  the breastplate is finished with a conway loop at the girth which can be unbuckled so you can use a stud guard of girth with D ring.

This stunning breastplate is available in Black, London and Brown and in pony, cob and full sizes.  The elastic is brown, tan or black to match the leather and has a fine red and white stripe top and bottom.
