The Bell Busk Saddlery Elasticated Breastplate is made from super quality leatherwork and stainless steel fittings to complement our Arena and Leisure saddle and bridle ranges.  The leather is especially selected for durability and to be lightweight and finished with care and attention to detail. 

This breastplate comes with a detachable running martingale attachment.

 The elasticated breastplate has been used in the hunting field, by eventers and point to pointers for generations and is also permitted for use in dressage, show jumping and eventing.  It is also very useful when riding out or schooling to stop a saddle moving and is brilliant on young horses where you cannot girth them up very tightly. 

The breastplate has straps with elasticated inserts going back to the saddle D rings.  A strap goes back to the girth from the chest ring for additional security.  The elasticated straps give a little so are brilliant on horses like eventers who really use their shoulders, because the overall weight of the breastplate has been kept down this is also perfect for pointers or lighter framed horses.

 The Bell Busk Saddlery Elasticated Breastplate is available in pony, cob and full sizes and black only.  The elastic is black with a narrow red stripe top and bottom.
